I didn’t realize how loud stillness could be until I had to sit through it.
The kitchen table became my checkpoint. Crutches nearby. Friends talking like normal. Life didn’t stop — I just had to move differently.
Today I stood without reaching for support. No big moment. No applause. Good. I didn’t need a comeback.
I walked into the gym. Not to lift heavy. Not to prove anything.
Just to move.
The guys nodded.
That was enough.
Healing isn’t dramatic.
It’s quiet.This isn’t about coming back stronger.
It’s about coming back steady.
Just forward.
